How Does Pair Work?

Pair is an innovative eyewear company that allows you to switch up your glasses color or style at any time. Our base frame costs begin at $60 and the decorative top frames start at $25. The top frames only work with Pair’s magical magnetic base frames.

What prescriptions can you fill?

We can fill a range of prescriptions, it all depends on the combination of numbers on the prescription you are given by your doctor. We recommend reaching out to our customer service team at hyvee@paireyewear.com and sending over a photo of your prescription to see if we can accommodate it. If we cannot accommodate your prescription, we can still make a non-prescription Pair for you, and you can have your lenses added in locally by an optometrist.

Can you do readers?

Yes! While building your Pair, after choosing the style and color of frames that you want, and any top frames you would like to add to your order, you can choose prescription lenses that are readers. You can choose the strength of readers at checkout as well, to make the process a bit quicker for us to make your Pair.

Can you do bifocals/progressives?

While we don't offer bifocals at this time, we do offer Progressive lenses for $260 (with base frame) and progressive sunglasses for $335 (with base frame). If your doctor has written a prescription for you with an ADD power, we can fill it as progressives. If you would prefer not to pay for Progressive lenses, no worries! You can make your Pair as single-vision lenses if you prefer. If your prescription has ADD values, and you would like single-vision lenses, please email us to let us know before or after placing your order with us to let us know.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, we don’t work directly with any insurance companies, however, we can offer you an itemized receipt for your Pair that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We also accept most HSA and FSA cards at checkout as well.

What Pair would be best for me?

Picking out a Pair is definitely up to personal preferences! We would recommend checking out our fit guide!

Where do the glasses ship from?

All orders are assembled and ship from our fulfillment center in California directly to your door!

Are these made in the USA?

All Pair glasses are made in China, but orders are packed and ship from our fulfillment center in California. Many of our top frame styles are made in-house at our facility in California as well.
